The content that I publish on Blogger is the result of a thorough study on the Word of God in relation to Property, Wealth, Money, Me and You. It all is a taboo, to the extent that we could not get the reason of things for us to evaluate our ways.

The role of the Lord

"I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from thee."
Job 42:2

The part of God relative the way to deal with the money is established on the foundation of contentment. In Scriptures, God calls itself with various names but the one that best describes him is Lord. It is important to understand how we see the Lord, because it determines how we live in the area of finance. Job, for example, is a witness who knew the Lord and Your landlord over his possessions. In a similar way, Moses and Elisha, to leave their wealth for a purpose. Many were those who accepted his role as Lord in their lives. The role of the Lord in our financial life is highlighted by three key-words: Domain, Control and Provision.

DOMAIN

"A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."
PSalms 24:1

In the book Leviticus 25:23, the Lord is identified as the owner of all the earth. In Haggai 2:8 we have "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts", as in PSalms 50:10 "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills".

At that moment, the Lord holds everything together by His power. In principle, when we acknowledge His landlord, every decision related to purchases and donations becomes a spiritual decision. To illustrate the depth of this position can find the position of Abraham to heed the voice of the Lord in Genesis 22:2 "And he said, Take now thy son, thy only son Isaac, Whom thou lovest, and go into the land of Moriah ; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains Which I will name to thee".

It's not easy giving up our arm strength or self-sufficiency, as if we were alone in our endeavors, and this is not a unique event and forever because every time we need to be reminded of who is Lord over our possessions.

CONTROL

"Whatever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places"
PSalms 135:6

Another responsibility that the Lord holds for you is Full Control over all events that occur on earth, in heaven and in us (I Chronicles 29:11-12).

While noble gases in the atmosphere remain firm in the equation right for supporting life without them dissipate into space, orchestrated movements occur in your body, reacting to the breath of life He filled you. His actions and decisions are under your control, and very interested in him, like King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:34-35 says "And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me , and I blessed the most High, and I Praised and honored him That liveth for ever, Whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation: And all the Inhabitants of the earth are reputed to nothing: and he doeth According to his Will in the army of heaven, and Among the Inhabitants of the earth: and none Can Stay his hand, or say to him, What doest thou?".

It is important that we realize that the Father conducts even the circumstances that seem overwhelming, but in the direction of a greater good in the lives of "their". "And we know That All Things work together for good, to Them That Love God, to who are the called Them According to his purpose" Romans 8:28.

It is worth reiterating that, after the tree of knowledge was "eaten", the Lord left to underestimate the man and his decisions in front of his ability, and not maturity, to make decisions.

But why the Lord allows occurs tough situations? I appreciate three reasons:
  • Perform His purposes: This is illustrated in the life of Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers and, years later, becoming a great authority in Egypt, saving his entire family of scarcity (Genesis 45:5,8).
  • Develop your character: This is something precious to the Lord. Lessons are learned about trust in the Lord during the difficult times, when we come closer to Him because we are more receptive to your voice and instruction.
  • Discipline: When administering discipline, the Lord encourages us to abandon the precepts doubtful and to follow to His principles, increasing our faith and strengthen our character.
If it is possible list a word to summarize the results of this aspect of the Lord in our lives, that word would be MATURITY. The Lord wait the awakening of his maturity, to bless our relationships with prosperity.

PROVISION

"But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

"Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him"
Proverbs 8:30

I am convinced that the Lord will provide - at the exact moment - the resources needed to realize the purpose and the calling that He has for each of us.

In Genesis 22:14, God is called "Yahweh Jireh" (The Lord will Provide). He cares for his people and does not need a prosperous economy for such provision. The Lord came down manna for the children of Israel for forty years, every day in the desert, as well as meat of partridges.

We fail to recognize the Lord when we do not understand who is the Lord. We tend to decrease it and place it in a way, with talent and human limitations. We must keep our vision awakens to not lose the perspective of the Lord.

LORD OF THE UNIVERSE

The distance between the end of a galaxy and the other is always measured in millions of light years. In Isaiah 40:26 we read,"Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names, by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth".

LORD OF NATIONS

Isaiah 40:21-24 says: "Have ye not known? Have ye not heard? ... It is he That sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and Its Inhabitants are the grasshoppers,... That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the earth The Judges of the vanity. Yes, They Shall Not Be planted, yes, They Shall Not Be sown: yes, Their stock Shall not take root in the earth: and He Shall Also blow upon Them, and They Shall wither, and the whirlwind Them Shall take away the stubble". And in Isaiah 40:15 we read: "Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted to the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing" The action of the landlord of the Lord can also be illustrated in I Kings 11:1-14.

LORD OF THE INDIVIDUAL

The Lord is not a "force", "energy", "cosmos", "nature" or any other classification, something distant, uncaring or unconcerned by our questions. ON THE CONTRARY!

He is involved so intimately with each of us as individuals. PSalms 139:3-4 reveals "Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art Acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But you, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether". God is one and Lord. He is the one who knows us deeply loves us and awaits our decision for Him.

"...and there is nothing too hard for thee"
Jeremiah 32:17b

The Lord has the power to meet His responsibilities and keep his promises. The fundamental truth is that the Lord has retained the responsibilities of property possession, control of events and the provision of necessities. As humans, we have not been projected to meet those responsibilities. But, the Lord has delegated some tasks important to us, for which it is necessary for its realization, a set of appropriate attitudes become necessary. I will tell more in coming posts.

Go beyond the blessings !
